Alan Crane

Background

Alan Crane is an Entrepreneur Partner at Polaris Partners who has founded or co-founded ten Polaris portfolio companies. Most recently he co-founded Zag Bio, targeting thymus-driven Tregs for autoimmune disease, and previously co-founded Seismic Therapeutic, Dyno Therapeutics, and Pandion Therapeutics (focused on tissue-specific immunomodulation). Prior to Polaris, he was SVP of corporate development at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, generating over $2 billion in partner funding and acquiring 19 development-stage products including Velcade. He holds a BA, MA in Biology from Harvard and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
