Amir Nashat is an Entrepreneur Partner at Polaris Partners in the Boston office and Managing Partner of Polaris Funds VI-IX. He joined Polaris in 2002 after completing his ScD as a Hertz Fellow in Chemical Engineering at MIT with a minor in Biology under Dr. Robert Langer. He also holds BS and MS degrees from UC Berkeley in Materials Science. Named to the Forbes Midas List (2016), he has built and directed companies including Fate Therapeutics (NASDAQ: FATE), Freenome, and numerous others. He is currently CEO of Souffle Therapeutics.
