Ari Nowacek

Background

Ari Nowacek, MD, PhD, is a Partner at ARCH Venture Partners who joined in 2015 as an Analyst and was later promoted to Partner. A physician-scientist, he has over 20 peer-reviewed publications in neuroscience, virology, and antiretroviral therapeutics. He holds a BS in Biology and Psychology from Indiana University, and an MD/PhD from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. At ARCH he has created companies across oncology, renal disease, autoimmune, and gene therapy, and was co-founder and SVP at City Therapeutics, which launched with a $135 million Series A in 2024.
