Background

Auren Hoffman is a General Partner at Flex Capital, a seed-stage venture fund, and CEO of NQB8. He previously founded and served as CEO of SafeGraph, a location data company, stepping down to chairman in October 2024. Earlier, he co-founded LiveRamp, a data connectivity platform acquired by Acxiom for $310 million in 2014. He also co-founded Rapleaf, which was acquired by TowerData. As an investor, he has backed over 120 early-stage technology companies, with unicorn exits including G2 and Airbyte. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
