Background

Avina Sugiarto is a Partner at East Ventures, joining as Venture Partner in January 2022 and promoted to Partner. She has over 12 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, private credit, and special situations across technology, property, logistics, financial services, and consumer sectors. She previously served as SVP at Indies Capital Partners and worked at Merrill Lynch. She graduated magna cum laude from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, and completed executive education at Stanford GSB.
