Background
Batara Eto is a Founding Partner at East Ventures, which he co-founded in 2009. He previously co-founded Mixi, Japan's first social network to go public, in December 2003, serving as CTO until 2008. Born and raised in Indonesia, he co-founded East Ventures with Willson Cuaca and Taiga Matsuyama. The firm made its first investment in 2010, backing early Indonesian tech founders before the ecosystem was established.
