Background

Bedy Yang is a Managing Partner at 500 Global (formerly 500 Startups), a global early-stage venture fund, which she joined in 2011. She became Managing Member of 500 Global's flagship funds I through IV, specializing in Latin America and the Middle East. She has over 150 investments in her portfolio across seed-stage SaaS, fintech, marketplaces, edtech, and health companies. Before joining 500 Global, she worked as a management consultant in Brazil and founded Brazil Innovators, a network of over 5,000 Brazilian tech founders. She lectures on venture capital at Stanford University and UC Berkeley, and serves on the board of Endeavor Miami.
