Background

Bejul Somaia joined Lightspeed Venture Partners in 2008 and spearheaded the firm's expansion into India, Southeast Asia, and Europe over the subsequent decade. He holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Harvard Business School. His India portfolio returned over $1 billion to investors, and he won the Midas Touch award for best venture capital investor in India in 2019.
