Bijan Sabet

Background

Bijan Sabet co-founded Spark Capital in 2005 after a decade in startups, including helping build WebTV during the early consumer internet era. He led Spark's investments in Twitter, Tumblr, Foursquare, Stack Exchange, and Boxee at their earliest stages. From 2022 to 2025 he served as the United States Ambassador to the Czech Republic, returning to Spark thereafter.
