Background

Brett Shear joined 1confirmation as General Partner in March 2025 following 1confirmation's acquisition of his fund PTC Crypto. He co-founded ConsenSys and was co-founder and COO of Fleek, a Web3 developer platform. PTC Crypto, which he launched in 2021, focused on the crypto creator economy and bridging crypto-native audiences with mainstream culture.
