Chandra Tjan co-founded Alpha JWC Ventures in 2015, Indonesia's first independent institutional VC firm. He previously co-founded East Ventures in 2009, where his seed investments in Tokopedia and Traveloka helped make them unicorns. He started his career as a banker at Citigroup and Credit Suisse in Singapore. He graduated from the University of Sydney with triple majors in finance, economics, and management, and completed an MBA at Harvard Business School.
