Chang Xu

Background

Chang Xu is a Partner at Basis Set Ventures focusing on developer-led products including dev tools, open-source, ML tooling, and data ops. Before joining Basis Set she was a Principal at Upfront Ventures, and prior to investing she was a founder and operator: she co-founded and served as COO of Onion Math, an edtech startup in China that raised $90M, and was the first Product Manager at the Minerva Project. She began her career at BCG advising clients across technology, retail, and healthcare. She holds an AB in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and an MBA, both from Harvard.
