Diego Vargas

Background

Diego Vargas co-founded Cometa as VARIV Capital in 2012 alongside his brother Ernesto Vargas and later brought in Rafael de Haro. He has co-founded and built companies including Bankaya, Osmos, and ZYLUS (FreedomPop). At Cometa he is active across all investment verticals and oversees venture building for multiple industries, often serving on portfolio company boards. He holds a BBA in Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an MBA from IE Business School.
