Background
Eugene Wan is a Partner at Construct Capital, where he has been since the firm's founding in 2020 and was promoted to Partner in June 2025. Before Construct, he was on the founding team of The Engine, MIT's venture firm, where he helped lead investments into companies such as Form Energy, Commonwealth Fusion Systems, and Zapata. He also served as Chief of Staff to the CEO at Galvanize, the data science education company, and spent ten years at Palantir Technologies before leaving in August 2024. At Construct, he works closely with portfolio companies including Impulse, Sphere Semi, Kinetic, and H2Ok Innovations.
