Background

Gabriel Kra is Managing Director and co-founder of Prelude Ventures, established in 2013 as one of the earliest dedicated climate tech VC firms. He has nearly 25 years of investment and entrepreneurial experience, including investment banking at Deutsche Bank in solar and semiconductor groups. His climate commitment traces to early work at Yellowstone National Park and Greenpeace. He serves on the boards of Activate, The CREO Syndicate, and Carbon180, and holds dual MBAs from Columbia and UC Berkeley Haas, plus an MS in Atmospheric Chemistry from SUNY Stony Brook.
