Enterprise SaaS pioneer, backed Salesforce and Veeva
Gordon Ritter founded Emergence Capital in 2003, establishing it as a premier enterprise software investor. His early bet on Salesforce when cloud computing was nascent defined the firm's DNA. He backed Veeva Systems in 2008 when it had 25 employees and under $1M in revenue; Veeva now has a $35B market cap and Gordon remains its chairman. He recently joined Princeton's Board of Trustees to help shape AI curricula. He was previously VP at Credit Suisse.
