Sequoia seed partner championing consumer and SaaS founders
Jess Lee studied computer science at Stanford, then joined Google as a product manager on Google Maps. She became employee number one at Polyvore, a social fashion commerce platform, rising to CEO before its acquisition by Yahoo in 2015. In 2016 she joined Sequoia Capital as its first female investing partner in the US, focusing on seed and early-stage consumer internet and SaaS companies. She also serves as Sequoia's Chief Product Officer, running the Company Design program for portfolio companies. She co-founded All Raise, an organization supporting diversity among founders and investors. Her notable investments include Figma, Maven Clinic, Ironclad, Wonolo, Squint, and Delphi.
