Jessy Rivest

Background

Jessy Rivest is a Partner at Khosla Ventures focused on climate tech and non-obvious methods of mitigating climate change. She holds a BS from MIT and a PhD from UC Berkeley, both in mechanical engineering. Before Khosla, she ran the cleantech practice at Xerox PARC, founding internal startups in air conditioning, methane pyrolysis, and battery manufacturing. She also worked as an engineer at Evergreen Solar and The Molecular Foundry. She invests primarily in materials science and cleantech at Seed and Series A.
