Jory Bell

Background

Jory Bell is a General Partner at Playground Global who holds three MIT undergraduate degrees in architecture, literature, and earth atmosphere & planetary studies. After climate research at MIT/Woods Hole and six years at Apple designing laptops, he co-founded OQO (Guinness World Records: world's smallest Windows PC). His first three Playground investments became unicorns, with Velo3D going public in October 2021. He focuses on engineered biology, advanced manufacturing, and genomics.
