Julio Vasconcellos

Background

Julio Vasconcellos was Facebook's first country lead for Brazil and previously founded Peixe Urbano, which was sold to Baidu. He has an MBA from Stanford and an Economics degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He co-founded Canary in 2017 and is now also a Managing Partner at Atlantico, a LatAm-focused venture fund. He invests in early-stage technology companies throughout Latin America with a focus on consumer and marketplace businesses.
