Background

Lara Lemann co-founded Maya Capital in 2018 with Monica Saggioro Leal, creating the first truly pan-Latin America venture fund active across both Brazil and Spanish-speaking markets from day one. She began as an angel investor after working in the public and private sectors. She holds a degree in Human Rights and Political Science from Columbia University.
