Background
Pepe Bolaños joined Cometa (then VARIV Capital) as a Principal in 2014 and became a General Partner in 2017. Before Cometa he worked at CEMEX, co-founded the e-commerce company Itaro as CEO, and was a consultant at Bain & Company. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, executive education from Harvard Business School in PE/VC, and a marketing degree from the University of Oregon.
