Raj Shah co-founded Shield Capital after serving as Director of the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) under SecDef Ash Carter. He is an active F-16 pilot in the Air National Guard and previously co-founded Morta Security (acquired by Palo Alto Networks) and Resilience cyber insurance. He holds an AB from Princeton and an MBA from Wharton.
