Ryan Orbuch is a Partner at Lowercarbon Capital leading the firm's carbon removal investments. He previously spearheaded Stripe's carbon removal procurement program, widely regarded as an industry benchmark. Ryan has met more carbon removal teams than virtually anyone globally and recruited scientific reviewers from universities worldwide. His expertise spans direct air capture, ocean alkalinity enhancement, mineralization, and geologic injection. Prior to Stripe, he co-founded Volley (education software) and designed Finish, an Apple Design Award-winning productivity app.
