Background

Shawn Xu is a Partner at Lowercarbon Capital focused on backing early-stage climate founders globally. He previously was a Partner at On Deck's venture fund and an investor at Floodgate, and served as a startup executive at Square leading international expansion. He also worked as a tech policy advisor to California Governor Gavin Newsom and is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree in venture capital. He holds an MBA/MA from Wharton and the Lauder Institute at UPenn.
