Sophie Bakalar is a Partner at Collaborative Fund, joining in 2016 to lead consumer brand investments. She previously spent 10 years as a quantitative trader at III Capital Management, a $5B+ fixed-income hedge fund, and co-founded di8it, a B2B SaaS startup acquired by Think Cell Software in 2016. She leads Collaborative Fund's $200M+ Collab SOS dedicated climate fund and focuses on advanced materials, energy, and supply chains. She holds a BS in Mathematics and BA in Public Health from Tufts University.
