Google Canada engineering lead turned AI investor
Steve Woods joined Inovia as Partner and CTO in August 2021. He previously led Google Canada engineering and product teams from 20 to over 1,300 people across numerous products from 2008 to 2021. He co-founded three Silicon Valley companies including Quack.com, the world's first interactive voice assistant, acquired by Netscape/AOL in 2000. He holds a PhD in Computer Science (AI focus) from the University of Waterloo.
