Sven Strohband is a Managing Director and CTO at Khosla Ventures, where he led early investments in Berkshire Grey, GitLab, Hermeus, and Rocket Lab. He holds a PhD in mechanics and computation from Stanford, where he was lead engineer for the autonomous car Stanley that won the 2005 DARPA Grand Challenge. Prior to Khosla, he spent six years at Mohr Davidow Ventures and led technical projects at Volkswagen's Electronics Research Lab. He sits on the boards of Waabi and ThoughtSpot.
