Background
Terry McGuire is a Founding Partner of Polaris Partners, which he co-founded in 1996 after partnering at Burr, Egan, Deleage & Co. and beginning his career at Golder, Thoma and Cressey. Over 35 years he has invested in over 80 healthcare and IT companies; his portfolio companies have touched over 60 million patients and saved more than 400,000 lives. He was twice named to the Forbes Midas 100 List (2011, 2014) and recognized by Scientific American's Worldview 100 (2015). He holds an MBA from Harvard, an MS in Engineering from Dartmouth's Thayer School, and a BS in Physics and Economics from Hobart College.
