Dr. Vandon Duong is a Principal at DCVC and son of Vietnamese refugees raised in Minnesota. He holds a PhD and master's in bioengineering from Stanford, where he researched immune cell behavior with publications in Science and Cancer Cell, and dual bachelor's degrees in physics and biomedical engineering from University of Minnesota. Before DCVC, he ran an advisory business handling equity investments and healthcare-focused vehicles for early-stage startups.
