Background

Willson Cuaca co-founded East Ventures in 2009, one of the first Indonesian-born venture capital firms. He transformed it into a multi-asset platform managing multiple funds from seed to growth stage with over 300 portfolio companies across Southeast Asia. He was an early backer of Tokopedia, Traveloka, Ruangguru, Xendit, and Fore Coffee. He was listed in Asia's Top 100 People Transforming Business by Business Insider in 2020 and named Fortune Indonesia Businessperson of the Year in 2022.
