Uber's first VC investor, fintech pioneer
Rob Hayes is a Board Partner at First Round Capital, where he was an investing partner from 2006, opening the firm's San Francisco office. He made the first VC investment in Uber in 2010. Before First Round he was the first venture investor at Omidyar Network and worked at Palm managing Palm OS and running the corporate venture fund. He led investments in Square, Mint.com (acquired by Intuit), and Planet Labs.
